Behind the Artist

Hannah Fae is an indie folk artist from the Great Lake State. Hannah writes all of her tunes and has played guitar for over a decade. Her easily identifiable vocals range from a high rock belt to a light whimsical soprano sound. At an impressive 4'9", some say she is quite the shorty. However, what she lacks in size...she makes up in heart. Hannah first got her start in musical theatre and has worked at professional playhouses across the Midwest. During her studies at university, she picked up her guitar and started to take songwriting seriously. Hannah graduated with Bachelors degree in Fine Arts and currently teaches voice out of her home studio. She also travels around the state of Michigan to play at various venues/festivals.

That classic/live instrument feel is what has inspired Hannah in the writing/recording process. With Hannah’s unique and strong vocal delivery, she instantly takes the listener on a journey. Whether it be one of her sultry sunset songs or a heartfelt ballad, the listener will be transported into a cinematic world. Her music is tied to themes of wonderous witchy vibes as well as a soothingly warm connection to nature. Some of her biggest influences include Stevie Nicks, Taylor Swift, Suki Waterhouse, and Samia.

 

Upcoming: Stay on the lookout this summer for her second single "Vicious Mockery" available August 30th. Hannah Fae's music will be available on all streaming services.  Later this fall, Hannah will also release her debut album "Underneath the Terracotta Moon." This project includes themes of nature, witchcraft, outer space, love, and self-discovery.
